"From the introduction (automatically translated): The narrator of this funny story said: Muhammad Al-Hashemi told us on the authority of Ibn Abbas on the authority of Jaafar bin Hashim bin Mudar who said: When Allah Almighty willed that the herald, the warner, the shining lamp, Muhammad bin Abdullah Allah should reside in Medina and make it his home, his news spread, his fame rose, his pride increased, and his orders and prohibitions reached the Quraysh and the people of Mecca as a whole. So they hastened and consulted each other in Mecca, so he left Mecca, emigrating to Medina. When he settled there and sought protection there, Abu Jahl, Abu Sufyan, Abu Muhit, Ikrimah, Hanzala, Murrah, and Khalid bin Al-Walid rose up and allied with the Quraysh to kill him, and they made the decision among themselves on his humiliation. Abu Sufyan came to them and said: O people of Quraysh, what do you say about this matter? They said to him: You are our leader and our elder, and our affairs are in your hand, so command us as you choose. Then Abu Sufyan stood up in anger and said, ""O heroes of Safa and Batha, know that Muhammad has made Yathrib his home and that the Arabs have gathered against him from every side and place. Do not be afraid that he will attack you with his armies."" - Wikipedia: Al-Miqdad ibn Amr al-Bahrani, better known as al-Miqdad ibn al-Aswad al-Kindi or simply Miqdad, was one of the companions of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.
