Eine Seite mit hinterlegtem Randeinriß und kleiner Anstreichung. Sonst innen sauber. // Original pictorial cardboard covers, 21 x 16,5 cm. 58 (2) pp. With illustrations in colour and b/w, including photogravures plus an attached folded map. -- Covers just a bit rubbed and dusted, smallish brown-stain and two handwritten inscriptions to front. Rear cover and title page with stamps from English institute of the University of Vienna, Austria. One page edge mended, one plate with small inscription. Overall still nice and clean copy. -- Guidebook to the sea-side village of Hove, with delightful cover design and sketches by A. K. Macdonald, as well as illustrations by Helen McKie. Alistair K. MacDonald (1880-1948) was a Scottish artist whose work was published regularly in British and American periodicals in the first half of the 20th century, as well as a successful book illustrator. All in all a charming souvenir.
