Titelbeschreibung

Desnos, Robert, French surrealist poet (1900-1945): "Yvonne George". Autograph manuscript.

N. p., c. 1920. 8vo. 6 pp.

Manuscript of poem from the great Surrealist poet to his long-time muse, the Belgian actress and singer Yvonne George. Written on six loose leaves of faded notebook paper, it is a moving testament to his obsession and unrequited love for a woman who inspired two collections of poetry and figured a major artistic inspiration in his life.
